Why We Prefer Wild Salmon
Share
Salmon is one of the most popular fish in the world, but not all salmon is the same. There is much debate as to which of the two main types—wild-caught or farmed— is better. They have distinct differences in taste, nutrition, sustainability and price and, for many, the debate is never-ending. But for us, it's a no-brainer. Here's why we prefer salmon that's wild caught:
Wild-caught salmon live and grow in their natural habitat—oceans, rivers, and lakes—feeding on a natural diet of plankton, small fish, and crustaceans. They are caught using fishing nets or lines.
