Horseradish Sauce to Die For
Share
This creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy horseradish sauce is the perfect complement to rich, juicy meats like prime rib. It’s easy to make and gets better as it sits, so feel free to prepare it in advance.
Ingredients:
• ½ cup sour cream
• 2 tbsp prepared horseradish (adjust to taste)
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)
• 1 tsp white vinegar or fresh lemon juice
• ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
• ¼ tsp garlic powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until well combined.
2. Taste and adjust—add more horseradish for heat, or more sour cream to mellow it out.
3. Chill for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld (overnight is even better!).
4. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley and serve cold alongside your favorite roast or steak.
