This herbed lobster butter is the perfect accompaniment to grilled lobster (and shrimp, crab or really any seafood, for that matter.) With the richness of butter, combined with fresh herbs and a hint of lemon, it’s a delicious way to elevate your seafood experience.
INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh tarragon (or thyme), chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp lemon zest
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 1/4 tsp paprika (optional, for a bit of smokiness)
DIRECTIONS
• In a medium-sized bowl, combine softened butter, parsley, tarragon (or thyme), chives, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and paprika.
• Use a fork or spoon to mix everything together until the butter is smooth and the herbs are evenly distributed.
• Refrigerate the herbed butter for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld and firm up.
• For a more fancy touch, roll the butter into a log using wax paper and refrigerate, so it’s easy to slice when needed.
